Game of Life !
When we look back, we encounter some moments of worthlessness, a certain period of ‘emptiness’. Nothing ‘good’ was happening in our lives. It would seem as if we were negotiating the challenges that were thrown at us at every stage one after the, and in front of which we were just powerless. We were just enacting to maintain a symbiotic relationship with others and the environment we were in. If we retrospect and reflect upon our actions, we may realise that, in those times, we unconsciously believed that our purpose was only to ‘give’, and not to ‘receive’. Isn’t it possible that we felt unworthy of a greater good? Underserving?? Didn’t we put others always ahead of ourselves? And, interestingly didn’t we find that it was ‘fair’ to do so??
We must have had the freedom to choose, but there would have been situations where the choices we made were 'led'. There could have been a mysterious unknown factor, which must have created an unavoidable feeling in our deep selves that any other choice would be impossible. We all have experienced this at some point in life when we liked something (or someone), then the feelings turn around. And these feelings seem to be 'resuscitated' again and again unconsciously.
Well, if those were the ‘cards’ we were playing, its time to change the game…step back…reshuffle the deck a bit more seriously, carefully…and most importantly ‘consciously’ and play the ‘Game’ of life once again.
Now to play the game well we need to 'believe' in ourselves, value and trust our convictions and trust our capabilities. Once we have our 'belief' in place, now we must ask ourselves: 'are we living our beliefs'?? 'Did our beliefs change our lives'??. Do a continuous evaluation of how we are responding to our daily challenges. Are we more dependable and responsible? Do we feel like 'game well played', and smile irrespective of the outcome of the game?
So, it's not just the belief that changes our lives, but 'BEING' what we 'BELIEVE' in.
